SCOR Investment Partners (SCOR IP), the asset management arm of the global reinsurance firm, has announced some key changes to its leadership team, including a new CEO in Fabrice Rossary.SCOR Investment Partners (SCOR IP) has an established insurance-linked securities (ILS) fund management practice, with the unit having just $2.9 billion of ILS assets across catastrophe bonds, ILW’s, collaterlised reinsurance and weather derivatives as of the middle of 2021.SCOR IP has adjusted its senior leadership team as it positions itself for a new phase of its development and seeks to accelerate the growth of its third-party asset management business.Former Chief Investment Officer Fabrice Rossary has been named Chief Executive Officer of SCOR IP, to succeed François de Varenne.

de Varenne will become Chairman of SCOR IP’s Supervisory Board, as a SCOR Group Executive Committee member in charge of Investments, Transformation, Technology and Group Corporate Finance.Within the management board of SCOR IP, Louis Bourrousse, has been named Head of Business Development, to oversee sales and marketing as well as distribution partnerships.While, Marie-Suzanne Mazelier has been promoted from Head of Aggregate to become SCOR IP’s new Chief Investment Officer, with oversight of all portfolio management teams, including for fixed income, corporate loans, infrastructure, real estate, insurance linked securities, fund selection and sustainability.

Benjamin Ayache will remain as Chief Operating Officer and Eric Talleux as Chief Risk Officer.In addition, the following appointments have also been made, with Thibaut Lameyse, who was previously Strategic Investments Manager for SCOR Global Investments, now appointed as General Secretary of SCOR IP, reporting to Fabrice Rossary.Alexandre Stoessel, who was previously the Head of High Yield, will become the Head of Fixed Income, reporting to Marie-Suzanne Mazelier.
