Descartes Underwriting has strengthened its leadership team with the appointments of Sophie Bassoulet as Head of Operations and Kelly Collet-Jones as Claims Manager, as the company continues its global expansion in corporate parametric insurance.Both hires will report directly to Chief Operating Officer Violaine Raybaud, and are positioned to enhance Descartes’ operational capabilities and client servicing during a period of rapid growth driven by increasing demand for science-based risk transfer solutions.Bassoulet brings over a decade of experience in operations management and consulting, including previous roles at McKinsey and AXA Global Direct.Most recently, she served as Operations Manager at French healthtech insurer Alan.
