Gallagher Securities, the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and capital markets broker-dealer division of reinsurance broker Gallagher Re, has added new structuring expertise with the hire of Caroline Cassis who joins from Swiss Re where most recently she worked in cat bond and ILS structuring.Gallagher Re continues to build out structuring expertise within its specialist division focused on the insurance-linked securities market.Caroline Cassis is the latest addition, coming on the heels of .Cassis will report to Bohm and will be based in New York for Gallagher Securities.

She brings the company broad experience from across reinsurance and capital markets and has joined in the role of Senior ILS Structurer.Her career began at investment giant BlackRock in 2017, where she worked in the private equity team based in Zurich.Cassis then joined global reinsurance firm Swiss Re and worked in a range of locations as a private equity analyst for two years.
