BMA hands Shanna Lespere Deputy CEO role

The Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), the financial regulator for one of the world’s most important insurance and reinsurance markets, has named Shanna Lespere as its new permanent Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO).Effective immediately, Lespere takes on the Deputy CEO role from her previous position as Chief Operations Officer at the BMA, a role she held since May 2015.Earlier in her career, she served as the BMA’s Director of Operations from May 2013 to April 2015.Lespere first joined the BMA in 2004 as an Assistant Director, and has held a variety of roles of increasing seniority before her most recent appointment as Deputy CEO.
