Radix Insurance Linked Strategies (Radix ILS), the Bermuda-based third-party capital manager and tech-first reinsurance capacity deployment company, has announced the hiring of Nicolas Plianthos as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), bringing years of insurance management and operational expertise to the firm.Plianthos had worked at Marsh Management Services in Bermuda for fifteen years and two years prior to that for a company Marsh had acquired on the island.Marsh Management Services is the division of the global broking group that provides insurance management services, from the standing-up or ongoing management of captives and reinsurance structures, including transformers and insurance-linked securities (ILS) vehicles, to a wide range of operational and administration services.In announcing the hire of Plianthos on LinkedIn, Radix ILS explained, “We are thrilled to announce that Nicolas Plianthos has joined Radix ILS as Chief Operating Officer.
