Catastrophe risk modelling specialist Karen Clark & Company (KCC) has announced the hiring of former Verisk Executive Dr.Milan Simic, who joins the firm as Global Strategy Advisor.Based in London, Simic will be responsible for driving global growth initiatives and strengthening international client relationships at KCC.He will also report directly to KCC Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Karen Clark.

A 35-year industry veteran, Simic brings deep expertise in risk assessment and modeling, engineering research and consulting towards his new role.As mentioned, he most recently served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of International Operations at Verisk Extreme Event Solutions where he was primarily responsible for strategy and operations across EMEA and APAC.Earlier in his career, Simic held positions at Benfield and in engineering consulting.
