CFC Underwriting Inc.launched a package policy for events organizers Tuesday that includes cancellation coverage, general liability and commercial property insurance.The London-based managing general agent said in a statement that the policy will pay for costs associated with event cancellation, curtailment, postponement or relocation for reasons outside the organizer’s control, including nonappearance of a participant.
The property component includes coverage for contents lost or damaged in transit and additional expenses, such as temporary repairs, the statement said.Maximum limits available for U.S.risks are $7.5 million for cancellation, $5 million for general liability, and $5 million for property.
The minimum deductible is $1,000 and the minimum premium is $500.
