Acrisure Re, the re/insurance division of global fintech Acrisure, has promoted Tom Deane to Managing Director, Head of Acrisure Re Corporate Advisory & Solutions, LLC (ARCAS US), where he will contribute towards the company’s work on insurance-linked strategies.According to the announcement, Deane will lead and serve as the supervisory principal of ARCAS US, where he will continue to report to Ben Canagaretna, Global Managing Director, Acrisure Re Corporate Advisory & Solutions, Ltd (ARCAS).In his new role, Deane will collaborate closely with the global team to further strengthen ARCAS’ four core pillars: strategic advisory, insurance-linked strategies, retrospective transactions, and corporate finance.At the same time, Deane will also work in partnership with a range of different colleagues across ARCAS, ARCAS US, Acrisure Re, and Acrisure, LLC, in order to support key mandates and advance strategic initiatives that align with the firm’s long-term goals.

Deane, brings nearly two decades of experience across the insurance and reinsurance industry, primarily in capital markets and advisory.He joined Acrisure Re in August 2023 as Head of Banking.Prior to Acrisure Re, Deane was a partner at Stonybrook Capital, where he focused on investment banking opportunities in the lower-middle-market insurance sector.

As well as this, he also previously held roles at JLT and Benfield Advisory (which was later acquired by broker Aon), specialising in capital raises and M&A transactions.Addressing his promotion, Deane said: “I am excited to continue advancing ARCAS US’s strategic initiatives and expanding our impact across the industry.With our talented team and deep industry expertise, we are well-positioned to deliver innovative solutions and drive meaningful growth for our clients.” In addition, Devin Inskeep has also been promoted to Senior Vice President, Head of Ratings & Strategic Advisory, where he will be expected to oversee client services and focus on developing ratings strategies aligned with clients’ financial and capital objectives.

He will also consult on strategic initiatives, helping clients implement best practices to drive long-term success.Inskeep, who joined Acrisure Re in October 2022, previously served as Director, Capital Advisory at Aon.He has also previously held roles at Accenture, AM Best, Standard & Poor’s and Willis Re.
