Bermuda-headquartered specialty insurer and reinsurer, AXIS Capital, recently hired Matthew Galbraith, formerly of Parameter Climate and TigerRisk Partners, as an insurance-linked securities (ILS) Analyst.Galbraith joined the AXIS ILS team in New York in June after more than 18 months with Parameter Climate, the parametric climate risk transfer focused underwriter and advisor, which he joined in November 2022 as an Associate, before becoming Product Manager.Prior to this, he spent almost three years with TigerRisk Partners (now part of Howden Re), first as a reinsurance broker intern and then as a reinsurance broker, based in New York.Galbraith joins the AXIS ILS team shortly after , as the firm continues to build out its third party capital operations.
