Ocorian, a global provider of corporate and fiduciary services, fund administration and capital markets with operations focused on the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance space, has hired Ashish Prabhakar to lead business development in capital markets activities across the United States.Prabhakar takes on the role of Head of Business Development, Capital Markets – Americas, at Ocorian and brings insurance-linked securities (ILS) expertise gained through his time at HSBC, where he worked alongside and supported the banks corporate insurance trust team.He joins Ocorian at a time when the company is expanding its operations in insurance-linked securities (ILS), as fiduciary, fund administrator and capital markets service provider.Prabhakar will be based in New York and be responsible for growing Ocorian’s business in the United States, reporting directly to Ocorian’s chief commercial officer Simon Behan.
