Lockton Capital Markets, the unit with an alternative reinsurance capital and insurance-linked securities (ILS) focus at the largest independent insurance broker of the same name, has announced the appointment of Pradip Ghosh as President, effective immediately.Ghosh was a member of the team that created Lehman Re, a Bermuda-based subsidiary and reinsurance company owned by investment bank Lehman Brothers, that worked on transactions in the reinsurance convergence and ILS space.Ghosh has more than 20 years experience across insurance, financial services and asset management industries.As President, Lockton Capital Markets (LCM), Ghosh will be tasked with working closely with CEO Ken Pierce, providing direction and oversight as LCM’s platform build-out continued.
