AssuredPartners makes another Florida agency buy - E-Insurance News

Private equity-backed brokerage AssuredPartners Inc.on Friday said it has acquired Star & Shield Insurance Services LLC, a Tallahassee, Florida-based agency that provides coverage for first responders and their families.Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Star & Shield has $2 million in annualized revenue and 11 staff, Lake Mary, Florida-based AssuredPartners said in a statement.AssuredPartners is the 12th-largest brokerage of U.S.business, according to Business Insurance’s latest rankings.
